How to Donate

There are many ways to support the Lords work, I am going to suggest a few.

Donate your life to the Lord. Father Harry did his work mostly alone. When I asked him why no one came to help him, he said "Not many want to give up everything to do the Lords work." Father Harry gave his whole life to bring Christ to a people. The harvest is rich but the workers are few. Is the Lord calling you to the missions? Donate yourself.

Father Harry would ask you to donate to continue his work with the Hmong.
Fathers Harry's Death notice reads:
Fr. Thiel’s wish was that any donations be sent to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, for the Redemptorists marked for the “Hmong Catechist in Thailand.”

Adopt a Missionary
I know that for Father Thiel there were two kinds of sponsors that greatly aided in his work.

Give a little regularly
The little one to twenty dollars that came in monthly were a great aid. As Father says in his story, one Church was built for one dollar's worth of nails. Remember one dollar which will not even buy you a coffee and just one candy bar, is a days wages where they work.

Give a lot when needed
If you have the wealth to be a sponser of larger projects, let the Missionary know when you send them the small monthly gift. There are times when large needs arrive. Father Thiel told me about his setting up a hospital to help the Laotian refuges when they were fleeing their country. At such times it is good to have people that are willing and able to help with unusual expenses.
